Mothers meet and make as a team

Make it.

Mothers in the town of Muyinga want to help provide funds for dormitories to enable female students to increase their studying hours - reducing time spent walking to school and providing light to study in the evenings..

The mothers are making traditional bowls as a small cooperative sheltered under a tree.

Sell it.

The bowls are transported to the UK - if you would like to buy one then take a look at the Facebook page accessed using the link below.

All work in the UK is voluntary and provided for free, ensuring that the benefits go directly to Muyinga, Burundi.

All profits will be invested in dormitories

Fund it.

The mothers receive the market rate for making the bowls - this provides them with much-needed income to support their families.

Any profit is donated to Stand Up and Build Project to fund student dormitories and improve education.

This is personal.

Dream it.

My name is NDAYISHIMIYE Christine, am 51 years old. I am married and I have 8 children, one daughter and 7 boys.

I thank you so much for supporting us in this good project. Thank you so much for your concern to Muyinga mothers union. I did this activity many years ago but I always have a problem to have customers. Every time when I get money from this, it helped me in my family .

This moment because you will buy our product, I have a project of buying a pig from the money and at the end I will build a house so that it will support me in future because I am becoming old.

May God bless you so much.

Overcome it.

I am NYABENDA Catherine, 63 years old .

I have 5 children but all of them are married. I and my husband are alone in the house.

I am not able to dig this time but I am able to make bowls.

That why I want to thank you so much for looking for us where to sell our bowls. This activity will support me and my husband and I am sure that we shall live because of this if we continue to have a market.

Many thanks and God bless you so much .
